WHAT IS DUTCH CANDY BOX?
Dutch Candy Box is a candy subscription box. Every month our team hand-picks 8-9 of the best Dutch candies. We will ship those sweets to you in a box, together with a Dutch souvenir. Inside every box we include an English information leaflet to let you know what candy you’ve received and where it’s coming from. We also offer a Light option, with which you’ll receive 4-5 sweets in an enveloppe every month. Read more on our homepage.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
When you join us, we will put you on the mailing list for the next delivery. In the last week of that month, your first candy subscription box will be shipped. You’ll receive a brand new candy box on your doorstep every month. Each box will let you taste a different range of unique Dutch quality foods. Of course you can cancel your subscription at any time you’d like through Paypal. If you already paid for the next box, this will be the last box you’ll receive, after which your subscription will end.
WHAT BRANDS DO YOU INCLUDE IN THE BOXES?
We try to be as diverse as possible, so you can keep trying new food every month. Among the brands you will find are Haribo, Katja, Droste, Autodrop, Verkade, Venco and De Ruijter, but expect many more!
HOW DO I JOIN?
Subscribing is easy at our subscription-page. Just select ‘subscription’, fill in your address and pay. It’s as simple as that!
WHAT TYPES OF SUBSCRIPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?
As for now, you can choose between our Light Subscription and DeLuxe Subscription services. We also offer a gift-option. There might be more options to choose from in the future.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
You can pay by Credit Card or PayPal. All payments are taken through our secure checkout. We will never share any of your details with third-parties!
DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY?
We ship worldwide, including to your country! Delivery is FREE, so all you’ll pay for is the subscription itself.
HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
That depends on where you live. Usually, our subscribers receive their boxes within 1 or 2 weeks. It can take up to 25 days if you live far abroad.
DO I HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS OR IMPORT TAX?
We mark our packages “not for resale”, so you won’t have to pay import taxes or fees for receiving our candy subscription box. If you are unsure of this, we recommend contacting your postal offices as some regions have specific regulations.
ARE THERE SUBSCRIBING DEADLINES?
Yes, there are! If you want to receive this month’s box, please subscribe before the 15th of this month. Your first box will be shipped in the last week of the month. When you subscribe after the 15th of the month, your first box will be shipped in the last week of next month.
If you subscribe at the 14th of July – your first box will be the July-box.
I you subscribe at the 16th of July – your first box will be the August-box.
CAN I GIFT A BOX TO SOMEONE ELSE?
You sure can! Choose ‘send as a gift’ on our subscription page, fill in your own info at ‘Billing Address’ and the recipient’s details at ‘Shipping Address’. We will send the box to the receiver and let you pay for the gift. If you add a note for the recipient during checkout, we’ll include that note in the package on a Dutch postcard!
CAN YOU INCLUDE ALLERGY INFORMATION?
Sorry, but we’re unable to provide allergy information or full ingredient lists in English. If you have serious allergies we would recommend that you do not subscribe.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?
It’s easy! You can log in at our account-page to alter your billing information or your delivery address. After logging in to your account, click the ‘edit’ button next to your address.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY ACCOUNT?
We are sad to see you go but we have made cancelling super-simple. Just log into your Paypal-account, go to ‘pre-approved payments’ and cancel the recurring payment. That’s all there is to it! If you’ve already payed for the next box, you’ll still receive your final Dutch candy box.
A PRODUCT IS DAMAGED/MISSING. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We carefully pack our boxes to avoid this kind of problems. But we never know what can happen. In the event of damaged or missing items, please take a picture of the product/box and send it to us at email@example.com. We will contact you with a solution as fast as we can. Never eat a product that arrived already open.
DO YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY?
We will grant you 14 days to judge if your purchase is satisfactory. Within this period you can return your box. Please leave the foodproducts unopened. If you have your doubts whether you can still return your box then please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are not all satisfied with the purchase then please return it to us in the original packing and unused. We will refund your money including the original delivery costs within 14 days. You only pay for the return shipment.
